Katherine with a 'K'.
It was time to make some more business cards.
I love the process of hand making my business cards.
I print them on card stock through the printer.
Draw the little heart in pink ink.
And hand stamp Miss Maisie on the back of the card using my own hand made stamp.
The little eyes are so delicate. Maisie, you need to be careful when cleaning the stamp.
Too late! A little eye has disappeared from Maisie's stamp.
So, I now have to add another single eye to every print.
But, so worth it...
Janie (top) and Jessica (below).
Janie and Jessica are both available in my Etsy store now.
Dress fabric used is Aunt Grace Classics by Judie Rothermal.
Just a few new little friends which have been custom made by Maisie...
Ki-Ki and Tiki.
Chi-Chi - specifically designed by one of my customers.
Sachi (available in my Etsy store now) and Chi-Chi.
All packed up and ready to be delivered to new homes.
I feel like I have been asleep since I attended the BrisStyle Markets on 4 July. This head cold has certainly knocked me around.
Let me catch you up with my involvement at the BrisStyle Indie Designer Markets which were held on a beautiful Winter's day, two Saturdays ago.
Some old and new friends at my market stall.
The Kokeeshi girls made their first venture out for some market testing.
The day was so busy.
Millie and Molly went to new homes. But, Mandy is for sale in my Etsy shop.
We met so many lovely people and had nice chats.
Lots of Maisies found new homes.
Lots of custom orders to fill.
Which means, lots of new fabric to buy! Who needs an excuse to buy fabric?
I use every last inch of my fabric. The scraps make these sweet pin cushions.
Mmmm, mini cupcakes to keep the sugar levels up.
I was even interviewed by Rave Magazine. Me, in Rave? I am not that cool. My sisters were surprised that their nerdy sister ended up amongst the pages of pill poppers and head bangers!
Catch up on some other great posts about our wonderful BrisStyle Market Day through this post.
Thank you to all of my readers who stopped by to say hi. It was lovely to meet you all.
Going back to sleep...
Busiest time of the year at work.
Busy making Maisies for July market and custom orders.
Very little winter sun to photograph my work.
Got the winter head cold.
Just a few of the reasons why I have been so quiet.
...but, I am back !
Making lots of nice things
