It all started from a couple of doodles at work. I love to draw. I love black ink. Don't even think about sneaking into my craft room and touching my black drawing pens.
Then it was a couple of blogs that got me thinking. Reading Aunty Cookie gave me inspiration for designing some tags to attach to my packages. Then checking out what Craft Pudding creates and sells gave me the inspiration to try carving my own stamp.
Eckersleys supplied me with the ezy carve printing blocks and lino cutting tools.
I drew my design on to the block, and carefully carved the image. This took me back to lino printing in year 9 at high school. The ezy carve block is just so easy to carve !!!
Then experimenting with different inks...
I started stamping at work as soon as I bought this red ink stamp pad at the $2 shop. ...Got a little bit of ink on my desk.
Pink ink stamp pad from the $2 shop produced this result...
Standard office issue black stamp pad from Officeworks produced the following result.
Lots of fun, lots of mess, lots of precision ... but a heap of personality.
Shhhh...the above package is to be included in an upcoming BrisStyle give away.
you are so clever and they are so cute, love them!

What a great idea. I love your stamp - pity I won't be eligible to win the give-away!
